It is somehow already November of 2023, which is crackers. But what's super COOL about the fact that the year went by so quickly is that it's already time to begin collecting snacks, gift cards, hats, stuffies, and more for Lincoln families who will be in the NICU over the holidays!
Each holiday season, we put together enough gift packages to cover every family in the NICU at both St. Elizabeth's and Bryan Hospital, and we're usually able to leave several extras at each hospital for the next families who come in. And, these packages are positively teeming with gifts made possible by YOUR generous donations of both money and gifts from the St. NICU Amazon Wishlist.
It should be said that 100% of all donations go toward NICU families every year; there aren't any admin costs or anything. And while we may assemble and deliver the gift boxes, the heroes of this whole thing are the folks who donate and the brave NICU families. Oh, and Kortney Mork, who does more for St. NICU than pretty much anyone else (THANK YOU, Kortney!).
